Paul Murphy & Marc Woolford Project - Jazz Room (Spiritual South Remix) 12" - AfroArt

Gilles Peterson dubbed this stunning Spiritual South mix "massive" on its first airing on his radio program, and that's all anyone needed to hear to send them into frenzied anticipation. People like Truby, Scruff and Beedle have had it on heavy rotation and it's becoming a contender for track of the year. The track builds for 3+ minutes over a bouncy Batucada rhythm section until it reaches a blizzard of chopped up vocals and effects. Once it breaks, you're smack dab in the middle of an organ and string-filled funk festival. This is the perfect record for making a grand entrance and letting the people know that you have ARRIVED! The out of print original version is also included on the flip.
